In context of Nijmegen citymarketing we developed promotional T-shirts for Nijmegen tourist-office and the city of Nijmegen. In line with our philosophy of promotional clothing, Nijmegen tourist-office chose for T-shirts with the look and feel of a real clothing brand. No standard unisex shirt with a chest logo, but fashionable T-shirts with trendy prints, labels and hang tags.

The T-shirt are made of 70% environmentally friendly bamboo and 30% cotton. Because of this composition, the shirt have pleasant wearing properties. The T-shirts have a nice fit and are available for men and women. For both men and women two designs are available. Both in colors white and black. The T-shirts cost € 16.95 each.

The Forever Nijmegen T-shirts are available in the Nijmegen UITshop. The Nijmegen UITshop is located at Keizer Karel 32h in Nijmegen (Stadsshouwburg). The Nijmegen UITshop is open from Monday to Friday from 09.30 am to 17.30 pm and on Saturday from 10.00 am to 17.00 pm.

Klimaatstraatfeest

Onze straat doet mee met de actie “Klimaatstraatfeest”. We staan met onze straat nu op de 18e plek.

Klimaatstraatfeest, wat is dat?

Bespaar samen met je buren energie en krijg op 16 mei een van de 500 straatfeesten cadeau! De winnende straten krijgen voor iedere deelnemer 25 euro feestbudget, tot een maximum van 500 euro. En de allerbeste straat krijgt het Superstraatfeest, met een optreden van Nick en Simon! De Provinciale Milieufederaties loven in elke provincie een geldprijs uit van 5.000 euro voor de Beste Burenactie.

In het kader van het klimaatstraatfeest bezoekt Piet Paulusma deelnemende straten. Vanuit deze straten presenteert Piet dan het weer. Zo bezocht Piet Paulusma ook de Gorisstraat.

To make bamboo blog suitable as an open blog for everyone, we have removed our own news from the blog. Our bamboo blog is now an open blog where anyone can register and publish about bamboo.

Shrinkage rate bamboo fabric

I’ve given Jesper the assignment to calculate the shrinkage rate of our bamboo fabric. Until now we had a rough estimate of this, but in order to improve our fit, an accurate calculation is needed.

Although Jesper is no mathematics wonder, he still managed to make a proper calculation of the shrinkage rate. Our bamboo fabric shows a shrinkage rate of 6% after washing it a number of times. We now add this shrinkage rate to all our patterns, so that our shirts are perfect after they are washed.

Our vision on promotional clothing is that it has to fit well. This vision is alive now in the business community when it comes to their corporate wear.

Sample bamboo shirts European supplier

Today the sample bamboo shirts, we ordered, arrived from a European supplier. They are pink! James is delighted:-)

Our first impression of the bamboo shirts is good, though not quite the right fabric. The delivery and manufacturing quality is good. If we can build a good relationship with this supplier it means we can deliver to Europe faster.

Improved our patterns again

Today again looked with our designer at our patterns. We are still not satisfied with the length of the models. I believe we are now in version 5 of our bamboo shirts. Anyway, the final product should be perfect, of course
